1.2 We are registered in England and Wales. Our main trading activity is operating as a trade counter and digital marketplace supplying flooring materials, accessories, and associated goods to both commercial trade professionals ("Trade Customers") and consumer end-users ("Consumers").

2. CORE CONDITION: THE PRE-INSPECTION & PRE-CUT RULE

2.1 CRITICAL NOTICE: All goods must be fully unpacked, laid flat, and thoroughly inspected for colour, shading, batch matches, visual defects, damages, or measurement discrepancies PRIOR to cutting, altering, or commencing installation.

2.2 Once a carpet, vinyl, laminate, LVT, underlay, or any other flooring product has been cut, shaped, glued, nailed, or fitted in any manner, the goods shall be deemed accepted by the buyer.

2.3 Luxury Floors Ltd will accept absolutely no liability, returns, refunds, or replacement claims for visual defects, incorrect sizing, shading variations, or batch mismatches once the material has been cut or installation has begun.

3. FITTER CHARGES & DELAYED DELIVERIES

3.1 IMPORTANT: We strongly advise all customers NOT to book independent carpet fitters, floor layers, or joiners until the goods have been successfully delivered to the site, unpacked, and verified to be complete and correct.

3.2 All delivery dates and time frames provided on our website or via email are good-faith estimates only and do not constitute a legal guarantee of delivery time.

3.3 Luxury Floors Ltd shall not be held liable under any circumstances for third-party professional fees, wasted fitter day-rates, cancellation penalties, project delay expenses, or loss of commercial earnings resulting from late, delayed, damaged, or incomplete deliveries.

4. CONTRACT FORMATION AND STOCK VERIFICATION

4.1 The display of products on tcctradefloors.co.uk constitutes an "invitation to treat" and not a binding legal offer. Your order submission represents an offer to purchase goods.

4.2 A legally binding contract is only formed when we dispatch the goods from our warehouse or trade counter and issue a shipment confirmation email.

4.3 We reserve the absolute right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion prior to dispatch (including but not limited to instances of stock errors, pricing errors, or delivery logistical barriers). In such instances, a full refund of any monies paid will be promptly issued.

5. PRICE AND PAYMENT

5.1 Prices displayed on our website are shown both exclusive and inclusive of VAT where applicable, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Delivery costs are calculated and added at checkout.

5.2 While we try to ensure all pricing on tcctradefloors.co.uk is completely accurate, errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.

5.3 Payment must be made in full via our secure online checkout using approved credit/debit cards or alternative digital payment gateways before any goods are prepared, cut, or dispatched.

6. DELIVERY CONDITIONS

6.1 Unless explicitly upgraded or agreed otherwise in writing, all deliveries are strictly Curbside Only.

6.2 Delivery drivers are not insured to carry heavy rolls of carpet, heavy boxes of LVT, or pallets into your property, up flights of stairs, or past the main entrance threshold. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure adequate physical assistance is on-site to safely handle and move the goods from the delivery vehicle.

6.3 Inspection Window: Trade Customers must inspect goods upon delivery and note any obvious external transport damage or shortages on the driver's delivery note. All hidden shortages, missing items, or transit damage claims must be reported to our customer service desk in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to report within this window will invalidate claims.

7. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & RESTOCKING FEES

7.1 Bespoke and Custom Cut Goods: In accordance with UK consumer law, any goods that are cut-to-size or custom-tailored to your specified dimensions (including but not limited to carpets, vinyls, and artificial turf cut from a master roll) are exempt from standard cooling-off cancellation rights. Once cutting has commenced, these orders cannot be cancelled, amended, or returned.

7.2 Standard Unopened Items (Consumers): Retail Consumers have a statutory right under Consumer Contracts Regulations to cancel standard, non-custom stock items (such as unopened full boxes of underlay, scotia, or flooring trims) within 14 days of delivery. The consumer is responsible for paying all return freight costs.
